It features Very Fine grade aluminum oxide mineral on a non woven 3D web of fibers to produce excellent finishing results. Cut the roll to a custom size for hand sanding tricky areas or for use on an oscillating machine.

This open web roll delivers all the great benefits you expect from Scotch Brite products—it conforms to uneven surfaces and leaves an incredibly consistent finish without undercutting the workpiece—but is engineered with increased stiffness to provide added durability for heavy duty applications. Compared to our standard Scotch Brite™ Clean and Finish Roll, this roll is denser and more resistant to tearing. Choose this roll for medium pressure cleaning, scratch blending, and creating satin finishes on aluminum, stainless steel and other metals. It is also suitable for use on plastics, wood and fiberglass.

Aluminum oxide is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, whereas traditional natural abrasives dull more quickly.
