Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Engineer to join our team, specializing in the sales of industrial consumable products such as tapes, abrasives, and safety equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in B2B sales within the industrial sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new customer opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Maintain and nurture existing client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Promote and sell industrial consumables like tapes, abrasives, safety products, and related solutions.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with clients.
- Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Prepare and submit sales proposals, quotations, and reports.
- Achieve and surpass sales targets and KPIs.
- Coordinate with the technical and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and after-sales support.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.
- Attend trade shows, industry conferences, and customer meetings.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in field sales, preferably in industrial consumables or related sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge of tapes, abrasives, safety products, and industrial solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
Preferred Skills:
- Existing contacts and network within the industrial sector.
- Hands on experience in Excel, word & Powerpoint.
- Knowledge of ERP or CRM software.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations related to industrial products.
